Overview
Censio reads the statistics of a running Anno 117 game and shows them live and over time in a web application. A Companion on Windows extracts the data; a Blazor Server application stores and displays it.
The Companion reads the game’s statistics pipe and the game files and pushes the data to the server over a WebSocket. Its logic lives in a platform-neutral library that is also tested on Linux; the Windows application is only a thin tray shell around it.
The server accepts data only from a client that presents the ingest token. It speaks plain HTTP only; TLS is the job of a reverse proxy in front. The server is built into a Docker image and the Companion is published as a Windows ZIP, both from a v* release tag.
The project is young and has not had a release yet.
